If you’ve never competed in gay rodeo before but have always wanted to, here’s how to get started.
If you plan on bringing a horse for competition, please see the Horse Stall Information and Pennsylvania Equine Information.
1. All contestants must belong to an IGRA Member Association. You can join KSGRA to qualify. You don’t have to be gay to compete. IGRA believes in inclusion of all people and therefore everyone is welcome to come and compete.
2. New contestants will need to go to the rodeo registration site and complete the New Contestant Registration Form. After you complete this form, you’ll receive your IGRA number in an email.
3. Rodeo Registration for the Keystone Charity Rodeo opens around May 18 and runs to June 8. During this time period, you can register online at https://gayrodeo.net/login/index.php. New Contestants can also register at rodeo registration, Friday, June 22 from 6pm-9pm.
4. New Contestants You are required to attend the mandatory New Contestant Meeting on Saturday morning at 8:30 am at Diamond 7 Arena. If you miss this meeting, you will be disqualified from participating in any of your rodeo events. Per IGRA Rules there are no exceptions.
You will receive a copy of the 2018 IGRA Rodeo Rulebook at registration. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the requirements listed in the rulebook.
